Ghulam Qadir Thebo formally removed from Karachi AIG hot seat
Thebo told to report to establishment division in Islamabad along with three other PSP officials.
KARACHI:
The government on Saturday formally removed Karachi AIG Ghulam Qadir Thebo, ordering him to report back to the establishment division in Islamabad.
According to a notification from the establishment division, Thebo – a PSP officer – was ordered to report to the centre.
On July 17, Thebo was transferred to serve as the chairman of the anti-corruption department. Mushtaq Meher had been announced as his replacement.

In addition to Thebo, three other PSP officers -- Sanaullah Abbasi, Sultan Ali Khuwaja and Tariq Raza Dharejo -- have also been directed to report to the establishment division in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, SSP Abdul Salam Shaikh, who was currently heading the intelligence wing of Special Branch, has been posted as AIG operations CPO.
Junaid Ahmad Shaikh, is currently awaiting posting posted as AIG Training in Sindh.
