Wasim Akram believes Pakistan are on the track to success
Akram praised Malik, voiced his shock at Sarfraz's exclusion and said Irfan should take some time off to get fit

Former captain and master of swing bowling, Wasim Akram believes that Pakistan cricket team have managed to form an excellent combination and it looks like they are on the right track.

Talking to a news channel after Pakistan's victory against Sri Lanka in the first T20, Akram appreciated the performance of Shoaib Malik saying that the experienced cricketer has performed well after his comeback in the team.
Akram also spoke about his surprise at the exclusion of Sarfraz Ahmed from the first T20, citing the recent performances of the wicket-keeper/ batsman as proof of him being a match-winner.
While commenting on Muhammad Irfan, the Sultan of swing said the gigantic fast bowler, due to his unique body structure, should take some time to become match-fit
The legendary all-rounder lauded the bowling and temperament of the new-comer Imad Wasim, saying that the left-arm spinner was suitable for T20s due to his flatter trajectory while bowling.

Meanwhile, the former captain and current television commentator, Ramiz Raja said Pakistan had bowled splendidly well against Sri Lanka, not allowing the Lankan’s to establish any partnership.
“Pakistan have got bowlers who could get wickets anytime in the match which is an advantage in T20 cricket,” said Raja.
Raja added that it was good to see Umar Akmal back in the team, and that too performing really well. However, according to Raja, Muhammad Irfan was still not in complete rhythm and the bowler needed some more time to truly get going.
