District and Session Judge Tariq Iftikhar Ahmed on Friday deputed Muhammad Yousaf, a judicial magistrate, to oversee the execution and record the will of a murder convict scheduled to be hanged at the Central Jail on August 6. Shafaqat has been convicted of murder in the Factory Area precinct. The FIR against him had been registered in 1998.
