Youhanabad attacks: Five suspects taken into custody

They said weapons and detonators had been seized from the suspects

LAHORE: Intelligence agencies have taken into custody five alleged facilitators of suicide bombings at two churches in Youhanabad which had left more than 19 people dead and more than 70 injured in March. According to sources, intelligence agencies had conducted an operation to arrest the suspects. They said so far, five have been picked up from various locations and were being interrogated. They said weapons and detonators had been seized from the suspects. In March, one Ghulam Rasool was arrested for facilitating attackers. However, his arrest, so far, has not been brought on record. Twenty eight Christians are also behind bars for lynching of two men after the suicide attacks on churches. The prosecution has yet to submit challans against them.
