Busted: FIA arrests two CDA officials

The FIA took the officials into custody and shifted them to an investigation centre

ISLAMABAD:
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two officials of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for their alleged involvement in taking bribe from a citizen before handing him the documents of a plot. The FIA’s anti-corruption circle along with a magistrate raided the CDA office in Sector G-6/4 and arrested CDA E&M Deputy Director Irfan Javed and cashier Iftikhar red-handed while they were taking the bribe from the allottee. The raiding team also seized the bribe from the officials. The FIA took the officials into custody and shifted them to an investigation centre where further investigation is under way.
