SIALKOT:

The Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed a petition seeking registration of a case against Shoaib Malik for flouting one-dish law during his wedding reception in Sialkot.

The petition has been dismissed as the petitioner, who also accused Shoaib of using excessive power in spite of energy crisis in the country, failed to substantiate his claim through evidence.

The petition was filed after Shoaib Malik and his wife Indian tennis star Sania Mirza hosted a reception in Sialkot on April 26.

The newly weds are scheduled to hold a second reception at a five-star hotel in Lahore this evening.

Ramzan Ali | 14 years ago | Reply I don't understand why the Media is giving them so much importance ??? Nothing is going to happen with the Indo-Pak relations. It would remain the same as it is.....The government is after these two celebrities and imposing fine for making more than one dish, for selling cards, for utilizing electricity etc etc.... Can anyone explain What we are getting from our government ??? They can do what ever they want, but if a normal person wants to enjoy their life these government people wants to ruin our lives.
