FAISALABAD:
Two women were reported gang-raped in Faisalabad. A 14-year-old girl, Fareeha*, was raped by three men in Chak 493-GB.
Talking to The Express Tribune, Tariq Nabeel, an uncle of the victim, said Fareeha, a ninth-grade student, was abducted by three men as she was on her way back home from a market late on Monday. “They took her to a deserted house and raped her there. They fled from the house on Tuesday morning,” he said. He said that Fareeha was being treated at a local hospital.
The Mamu Kanjan SHO said police had registered a case against the three. “We are conducting raids to arrest the accused,” he said.
In the second incident, a woman was raped by three men in Chak 81-JB.
