Arrests: Suspects who threw acid on air hostess caught
Three suspects, Danish, son of Ashraf Ali, Abdul Raheem alias Asif, son of Akbar Ali, and Muhammad Ashraf, son of Muhammad Omar, allegedly involved in throwing acid on an air hostess were apprehended by the District City police on Tuesday.
The police also apprehended a key-suspect who ordered them for throwing acid on the victim, said SSP Fida Hussain Shah on Tuesday.

SSP Shah informed the media that the accused, Danish, along with his arrested companions, threw acid on an air hostess, ZA*, in Shah Latif locality of Malir district on July 15 this year and escaped. He said that the arrested suspects were paid criminals who were given this task by a local businessman, Malik Qurban, who has also been arrested on the information provided by the men in custody. They were arrested from Nabi Buksh, Old City. However, SSP Shah said that investigations are underway to ascertain the motive behind the incident.
