Busted: Alleged gangster arrested at airport
Though the arrest was reportedly made by intelligence agencies

An alleged member of a Lyari-based gang was reportedly apprehended in a raid at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. Sources said that the gangster, identified as Hanif Hassan, was arrested on his arrival from Oman on a tip-off. The suspect was said to be a member of Lyari’s notorious Sheraz Comrade group. He was also accused of killings of at least 34 people in Karachi, particularly in Lyari. Though the arrest was reportedly made by intelligence agencies, no law enforcement agency has so far confirmed the arrest.
