Monday afternoon witnessed reshuffling of officers in different departments of HEC. Attestation and Accreditation Division Director General (DG) Farmanullah Anjum has been transferred to the sports division while two directors of the same section, Tahir Farooq and Shabbir Baig, have also been transferred.
Sources confirmed that the three officers have been transferred for alleged mismanagement in the division and failure to address anomalies which would be pointed out later. Shaheen Khan of sports and learning innovation division who was holding the acting charge of adviser has been given the charge of the latter while Anjum has been handed over the charge of sports division as its DG. Anjum has been replaced by Muhammad Raza Chohan from the human resource management division while no replacement has been announced for his place.
