US President Barack Obama, performed Lipala -- a traditional folk dance, during his two-day trip to Kenya. According to a report in the Independent, President Obama danced at Nairobi's State House to the country's biggest nightclub jam which is referred to as the Kenyan version of the viral song Gangnam style

The Lipala was revived with a remake by a Kenyan afro-pop band based in Nairobi, Sauti Sol.

“I suspect that some of my critics back home are suspecting that I’m back here to look for my birth certificate. That’s not the case,” President Obama quipped earlier on Saturday.

The trip also makes a history as it is the first time a US president has visited Kenya and Ethiopia.

“I’m the first Kenyan-American to be president of the United States. That goes without saying. When it comes to the people of Kenya, especially the youth, I believe there is no limit to what you can achieve," Obama said.

"You can build your future right here, right now. You are poised to play a bigger role in this world. In the end, we are all a part of one tribe, the human tribe,” he added.
