Fake passports : Three Afghan women held

The official said the traffickers hailed from Khyber Agency and Afghanistan

RAWALPINDI:
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three Afghan women for attempting to travel on fake passports. The FIA also arrested the member of a human trafficking gang who had brought the women to the airport for sending them off to the United Kingdom. The three were identified as Urwa Shehzad, Kulsoom Shehzad, and Zarqa Bibi and the alleged trafficker as Tahir Munir, while his two accomplices fled the airport. An FIA official said the gang was active in the twin cities. The agency also conducted a raid at the office of a travel agent and arrested a man for his alleged involvement in facilitating human trafficking. The official said the traffickers hailed from Khyber Agency and Afghanistan, and further investigations are under way.
