FAISALABAD:
Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) claimed to have detected power pilferage at a loom factory near Ghulam Muhammadabad police station on Saturday.
FESCO Spokesman Tahir Sheikh told The Express Tribune that a FESCO team had raided the factory on a tip-off in Faizabad subdivision and found power pilferage there.
He said the factory had 36 power looms being supplied electricity from Rasoolpur and Ali Road.
He said the factory owner had registered three electricity connections but the entire load was supplied by a domestic meter.
He said during previous inspections, the factory owner had hidden the meter.
The spokesman said the FESCO team had removed all the meters and a complaint had been forwarded to the police.
