Settling a dispute: Lawyers lock judge in court room
Advocate Farhad Ali Shah, a member of the Punjab Bar Council, later unlocked the room

A group of lawyers locked the court room of Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Mazhar Saleem on Friday after he refused to pass directions before receiving comments from a police station. Advocate Mian Ehtisham and several others appeared before the court and asked Judge Saleem to pass directions on a petition seeking the registration of a case, however, the judge said he would decide the matter after the relevant SHO submitted comments before the court. Ehtisham and his friends then locked the judge inside the court room. Advocate Farhad Ali Shah, a member of the Punjab Bar Council, later unlocked the room.
