Pakistan left-arm pacer Junaid Khan has joined the English county side Middlesex to represent them in the 2015 Royal London One-Day Cup, reported Radio Pakistan.

Junaid is expected to join the side on July 29 for their game against Lancashire at Blackpool.

According to APP, the Pakistan bowler last played in England with Lancashire in 2014 where he took 19 wickets in 10 Natwest T20 Blast matches with best figures of 4/12 and was instrumental in his side's advancement to the final.

Apart from his pivotal role in Lancashire's success during his stint in 2014, Junaid Khan also proved to be very popular with the Lancashire fans.

Junaid has adorned the Pakistani jersey in 52 ODIs after he debuted in April 2011. He has taken 78 since then at an average of 25.72.

Unexpectedly, he has only taken part in nine T20 internationals where he gathered eight scalps.

Junaid has been out of form after missing the 2015 World Cup due to a thigh injury during training. Due to his lacklustre performance against Bangladesh, where Pakistan lost the ODI series 3-0, he has been side lined from international duties and this trip to England might help him gather some confidence to make a comeback.
