Security forces have destroyed at least a dozen militant hideouts during a search operation by setting them on fire in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas’ Upper Orakzai Agency on Thursday.
An official of the paramilitary forces said that a couple of days ago several militants sustained injuries during a clash between two rival groups in Bagaro area of Ismailzai tehsil.
He added that later they launched a search operation in the area and set 12 hideouts of the militants on fire.
It was also stated that the militants escaped unchallenged before the operation in the neighbourhood.
