Sources said the kidnappers are willing to return the girl but MPA Ghalib Domki insists that the kidnappers hand themselves over to the police. The four-year-old girl went to buy sweets from a nearby shop in Hindu Muhalla and went missing on her way back home. Her father Jay Pal Das said he informed the police after he searched for Roshni at all their relatives’ homes. Roshni’s uncle Sham Lal told The Express Tribune that it seems as if the police have lost interest in the case. “The DPO promised us she would be found within three days but eight days have passed and nothing has been done,” he complained. “We have heard that the MPA wants the kidnappers to be found along with Roshni and we think this is the right approach because the kidnappers must be punished,” he added.
The MPA was not available to comment as his cell phone was off.
Kashmore DPO Syed Asad Raza Shah told The Express Tribune that the MPA is not very involved in the case but the police are trying their level best to find the girl. “We are moving in the right direction and the girl should be found soon,” he assured the family.
