Restoring hopes and reigniting rumours, beloved Lord Commander Jon Snow was spotted strolling in Belfast, where the sixth season of Game of Thrones is being shot. Jon Snow played by Kit Harington was stabbed in the finale of season 5 and since then fans have been curious as to what fate he meets next.
According to Watchers on The Wall, a fan website dedicated to the show, Kit Harington was seen lurking incognito around the sets of GoT.
He was chilling with fellow cast member Ben Crompton (Dolorous Edd) and had covered his head with his hoodie in an attempt to hide his iconic Jon Snow locks.
Kit wore readers and and was seen puffing a cigarette. The two actors were reportedly hanging around near Titanic Studios.
Earlier, he was seen walking out of the airport sporting a man-bun. He was accompanied by Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H’ghar).
It is reported that the filming of the upcoming season began sometime this week in Northern Ireland. The production has had a heavy presence at Garron Point in Co Antrim since last Thursday. Many trailers and horse boxes have been sighted and the production base seems to be set up at St Killian’s College.
This location was previously used in the show as the grounds surrounding Runestone (Yohn Royce’s keep) in the season 5 premiere. We already know that Yohn Royce himself will return in the upcoming season.
Like Jon Snow, we know nothing but our fingers are crossed with the few clues we have like Kit Harington’s presence near the set of GoT and his long hair, we infer that he will be returning in the next season. We are still to find out which of the conspiracy theories is true; would he be playing a corpse role or would he be returning for good as a white walker? We still can’t seem to make peace with his absence.
