Ali Zafar publicly asks Junaid Jamshed to clarify stance on women

Junaid Jamshed is in the spotlight again and not for a good reason. After facing severe criticism over his recent sexist remark, the pop star-turned-televangelist released a clarification in the form of a video.

That, however, didn't stop superstar Ali Zafar from grilling Junaid -- and that too publicly. Giving Junaid some benefit of the doubt, Ali initiated a conversation on Twitter, asking if the former believes women are inferior to men.
Surprisingly, Junaid replied saying "Not at all".
To further clarify Junaid's stance, Ali asked him about his opinion on the role of women, whether or not it's OK for them to get of the house, work or drive a vehicle:
Junaid responded positively saying that he believes women are more dynamic than men but with a slight inclination towards his preconceived misogynist beliefs:
In response to which Ali offered the singer-turned-scholar to jam together sometime in order to show mutual respect to women:
Without commenting on the idea, Junaid requested Ali to follow him back on Twitter:

It's still to be seen whether Ali would join Junaid on one of his religious TV shows or if Junaid would accept Ali's offer to jam together. Whatever the case, kudos to Ali for trying to resolve a controversy that doesn't even involve him.
