Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)'s Rabita Committee has yet to decide if it wants to hold a sit-in or follow Altaf Hussain's call of hunger strike. The party chief had announced a hunger strike to protest the raids on party offices and arrests of their workers by the law enforcement agencies.
"We have requested him to reconsider his decision and take it back in the interest of the people," said Haque. "Also, there should be no risk to his health," he added.

The MQM Rabita Committee is discussing the matter but it has yet to decide if the party should go ahead with Hussain's hunger strike or conduct a sit-in against the ongoing targeted operation, said party leader Aminul Haque.
The party has appealed to Hussain to take back on his decision of observing hunger strike.
"We have requested him to reconsider his decision and take it back in the interest of the people," said Haque. "Also, there should be no risk to his health," he added.
