Feat of bravery: Two killed in suicide attack

QUETTA: A watchman and a suicide bomber were killed, while another sustained injuries in the suicide bombing which took place on Brewery road area near Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University on Friday. SSP Operation Abdul Waheed Khatak talking to the media said that an unidentified suicide bomber detonated a bomb after the watchman did not allow him to enter the Hazara town.  “The watchman and suicide bomber were killed while the watchman’s nephew sustained injuries,” SSP Operation said, adding that the watchman saved hundreds of people’s lives while they were busy shopping in Hazara town. Home Secretary Akbar Hussain Durani talking with the media said we had the information about attacks and during Eid holidays security was on high alert in Quetta. According to the Bomb Disposal Squad around 7 kg explosive materials were used in blast.
