Seven children, driver die as bus falls in ditch

Seven children, driver lose their lives and 33 others get injured when school van fall in a ditch in Abbotabad.

ABBOTABAD: Seven children and the driver of a bus lost their lives and 33 others were injured when a school van fell in a ditch in Abbotabad on Monday.

The school van was on its way from Thana Kot to Allai when it fell in a ditch at Kanaee point.

Sources informed the van that belonged to Allama Iqbal Public School, was not properly functional and the driver lost its control at Kanaee point.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where some were reported to be in a serious condition.
