Increasing Unemployment: MPA disapproves dismissal of employees

Supported strong action against the bureaucracy which made these appointments

HYDERABAD:
Pakistan Peoples Party’s MPA Dr Makhdoom Rafiquz Zaman expressed concern over the removal of thousands of Sindh government employees who were appointed earlier after bypassing the rules. “During different governments the bureaucracy even on the basis of bribe and political recommendation appointed thousands of youngsters,” he said. “But the youth are not to be blamed for this,” he added. “The unemployed youth sold their valuables to collect enough money to pay bribe to the bureaucrats for their jobs,” he said.  The MPA supported strong action against the bureaucracy which made these appointments. He appealed to the PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the provincial government to spare the employees. “Millions of families will become a victim of poverty and redundancy will rise if they are sacked,” he said.
