            Punjab Chief Minister Shabaz Sharif will decide the fate of stone crushers on the Margalla Hills and other areas of the province after Eid. This was said by Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaulallah who is also head of a committee overseeing the issue of illegal stone-crushers across the province while addressing a video conference held to discuss stone crushing on the Margallas. In the conference, Rawalpindi Division was represented by commissioner Zahid Saeed and district commissioner Sajid Zafar Dall. Around 156 stone-crushing mills are operating on the Margalla Hills while according to the minerals department, they stand at 127. There are around 56 stone-crushing sites and of them, 53 are held by the minerals department, one by Pakistan Railways and one by the irrigation department.
