The provincial government announced on Tuesday that it would initiate the process of recruiting nurses against vacant posts in public hospitals across the province. The Health Department will induct 800 nurses on grade 16 in this cycle. An official of the Health Department said that a requisition for recruitment had been sent to the Punjab Public Service Commission. He said the new staff would be appointed at THQ and DHQ hospitals across the province.
