Gunned Down Grazing: Man killed over errant cow
The police registered a case against the suspected murderers and have started investigation
RAWALPINDI:
A 58-year-old man was shot dead after his cattle walked onto private property in Kahuta area on Tuesday. Salar Anjum lodged a complaint with the local police stating that Mukhtar Yasin and his son, Waleed Mukhtar, shot dead his father, Tasnim Iqbal. Anjum said his father was bringing their cattle back from a forest area when one of them strayed into Yasin’s field. Anjum said Mukhtar immediately pulled out his pistol and shot at his father, killing him on the spot. He added that the families had some pre-existing differences. Iqbal was taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Kahuta, where doctors confirmed his death. The police registered a case against the suspected murderers and have started investigation.
