Targeted attack: Two sub-inspectors slain in Quetta

Masked men gunned down two sub-inspectors of the Balochistan Constabulary (BC) in the Satellite Town area of the provincial capital Monday evening.


According to police, the two sub-inspectors were riding their motorcycles at the time of the attack.


The attackers ambushed them, opening fire on them in Satellite Town’s block three area of the provincial capital. As a result, both sub- inspectors were killed on the spot.


Police rushed to the scene soon after the incident and cordoned off the area. The deceased were taken to the Civil Hospital Quetta for autopsy where they were identified as Hafeezullah Kakar and Fazlur Rehman.
