The Ratta Amral and Airport police stations have been set up on land of Pakistan Railways

Punjab Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Ahmed Sukhera has sought details of police stations established in private buildings across the province. The IGP has asked all police chiefs to provide details of police stations functioning in private buildings in their respective districts. In the Rawalpindi District, seven police stations are set up in private buildings, a police official said on the condition of anonymity. These include the Racecourse Police Station, Naseerabad Police Station, Morgah Police Station, Ratta Amral Police Station, Pirwadhai Police Station and Airport Police Station. The Ratta Amral and Airport police stations have been set up on land of Pakistan Railways. Sources said the Punjab Police were in contact with Pakistan Railways for getting the land on lease to establish a police station on the land.
