PM Nawaz performs Umrah in Saudi Arabia

PM expected to meet Saudi royal family during his visit

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif performed Umrah after reaching Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Upon his arrival at the Jeddah airport, the prime minister was received by officials of the Pakistani Embassy in Jeddah.

He also also met Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan enjoy close brotherly and strategic relations. Both countries have cooperated with each other in times of crisis and have focused on strengthening trade ties.

In April, Nawaz and army chief General Raheel Sharif had visited Saudia for a day.

Upon their arrival, the delegation was received by Prince Mohammad bin Nayef Al-Saud, deputy crown prince and minister for interior, Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud and defence minister at the airport.

raider | 9 years ago | Reply @z: @haji: don't be so sacred and pious dear, jeering at others with weightless claptrap is way easy to come up with, you with our cronies are ostensibly oblivious or hypocritically pouring in balderdash, whats the legal way to go to umrah for public office bearer which is merely on payroll of public money, he should have come Pakistan, get his leave order be drafted, be notified as pm 'll observe leave w..e..f for his personal matter in Saudi Arabia then he should have handed over official plane to the authority concerned and leave for Saudi Arabia on commercial flight and even with his personal plane if he keeps otherwise,pm has in routinely used to and misused his authority, NAB and other concerned departments should take notice of it if they have some sort of strength left with them, i have been a office bearer in recent past (assistant controller) and well aware about official procedure to be followed in letter and spirit.
