China To Pakistan: Air China keen to start tri-weekly flights

Airport Manager assured the delegation of full support for smooth and secure flight operations from Islamabad airport

ISLAMABAD: Air China, the national flag carrier of Beijing, has showed keen interest in operating three flights of its Airbus-320 in a week from Islamabad airport from October this year. In this regard, a China Air delegation visited Islamabad Airport and held meeting with Airport Manager, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Muhammad Ayaz Jadoon, a spokesman of the Authority said on Saturday.  The Airport Manager assured the delegation of full support for smooth and secure flight operations from Islamabad airport. At present, China Southern, a Chinese Airlines, operates four flights of Boeing 757 from Islamabad Airport every week.
