Mass-transit system: Over 125,000 people travelling by metro daily: Abbasi

Pakistan Metro Bus Project Implementation Committee Chairperson Hanif Abbasi said over 125,000 passengers on an average were travelling daily through the metro buses and traffic problems at Murree Road had also been reduced. 



He said that the metro bus service was a mass-transit system of international standard equipped with all modern facilities.


Abbasi claimed the project had increased the aesthetic beauty of the twin cities.


He said the bus service was providing comfortable facilities at very affordable rates.
