Conditional return: Khujista Rehan reinstated at PU
She also undertook to remain careful about her conduct in the future
LAHORE:
Lahore High Court reinstated Punjab University Law College lecturer Khujista Rehan to the post of girls’ hostel superintendent on Thursday. Justice Farrukh Irfan Khan observed that the reinstatement was conditional and directed Rehan not to misbehave with her superiors. She also undertook to remain careful about her conduct in the future. Rehan had challenged her termination as superintendent. Counsel for PU Amir Mahmood had opposed the petition saying that the vice chancellor had lawfully removed Rehan from the post. He said the VC had taken the action due to frequent complaints about her conduct with her colleagues and superiors.
