Allocation: Uplift funds released to Pindi MPs

Work on these projects will start soon and will be completed before December 2015

RAWALPINDI:
The Punjab government has released over Rs85 million for members of the provincial assembly from Rawalpindi district to carry out development projects in their constituencies. A source said the funds will be spent on construction of roads, streets and streams eight constituencies. Over Rs30 million each has been released for constituencies NA-51, NA-54, Rs20 million each for PP-2, PP-3, PP-4, PP-6, PP-10 and Rs2.5 million for PP-14. The source said the funds had been approved in the budget 2015-16. Work on these projects will start soon and will be completed before December 2015.
