Rude awakening: ‘Nation waiting for commission’s verdict’
He said the parties’ vote banks had also started to dwindle in the wake of recent defections
LAHORE:
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf provincial organiser Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said on Thursday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the Pakistan Peoples Party were quickly losing candidates interested in securing party tickets. Sarwar was speaking at his office. He said the parties’ vote banks had also started to dwindle in the wake of recent defections.
“The PTI has submitted all proofs of rigging to the judicial commission (constituted to probe allegations of electoral malpractice in 2013) and the nation is anxiously waiting for its verdict,” Sarwar said.
