Rigging complaint: NA 122 case hearing on 11th

LAHORE: Proceedings of an election tribunal hearing of the rigging complaints in the NA-122 constituency were adjourned on Wednesday till July 11. Judge Kazim Ali Malik was hearing objections filed against delimitations of union councils. National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq had defeated Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan in the constituency. The PTI had then filed a complaint, alleging massive rigging in favour of Sadiq. The PTI’s counsel, Anees Ali Hashmi, had earlier concluded his arguments. Sadiq’s counsel, Barrister Asjad Saeed, will conclude his arguments on the 11th.
