Two-day pillion riding ban imposed in Sindh for Ramazan 21 procession
Ban extends to Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur
KARACHI:
The Sindh government on Tuesday imposed a two-day ban on pillion riding ahead of Ramazan 21 procession, Express News reported.
According to a notification issued, pillion riding will be banned in Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur on July 8 and 9.
The move is part of security measures adopted for the Youm-e-Ali procession.
Additionally, the traffic police in Karachi has issued a plan of which roads will be closed along with diversions in order to provide a safe and clear path for the Youm-e-Ali procession.
