Youm-e-Ali processions: Pindi police issue traffic plan

RAWALPINDI: The City Traffic Police (CTP) have issued a comprehensive traffic plan for processions to be taken out on July 8 and 9 commemorating the demise of Hazrat Ali (RA).  The motorists have been urged to use alternative routes as several roads would be closed for all kind of traffic on 21st Ramazan. According to Chief Traffic Officer Shoaib Khurram Janbaz, traffic will be diverted from City Saddar Road, Mochi Bazaar, City Police Station, DAV College Chowk, Alam Khan Road, Imambargh Chowk and Committee Chowk to ensure security of the procession taken out from Mohanpura.
