Police raid: Three alleged target killers arrested

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Karachi police on Monday claimed to have arrested three suspected target killers allegedly affiliated with Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST), a politico-religious organisation. Their arrests were disclosed during a press conference held by CTD SSP Usman Bajwa. He said that during initial interrogation, the detained men revealed that they belong to PST and have been involved in targeted killings of MQM workers as well as those who refused to pay extortion and street crimes. The suspects identified as Sanwal Chirya, Hateem Hussain and Nasir Taqi were picked up from Kashmir Road area. Police recovered three rifles, hand grenades, a Kalashnikov and a pistol from their possession.
