Postings manual : New policy for transfer of teachers
The committee has been authorised to remove teachers with poor performance.

The Punjab education department has devised a new policy for transfer of teaching and non-teaching staff across the province. An official in the Rawalpindi education department said the new policy, which proposes to lift the ban on transfers and postings, has been sent to the chief minister’s office for approval. He said a three-member committee has also been constituted to supervise the performance of teachers and head teachers. The committee, he added, has been authorised to remove teachers with poor performance.
