The Punjab Mass Transit Authority has issued a 31-point code of conduct for the Metro Bus Service plying in the twin cities.
There will also be a ban on movement of citizens on the track of the metro buses. Several people have been arrested in the twin cities for crossing the metro track, which is illegal as Section 144 has been imposed in this regard.

The Punjab Mass Transit Authority has issued a 31-point code of conduct for the Metro Bus Service plying in the twin cities.
Every passenger will be bound to buy a token or smart card for travelling under the code of conduct. There will be a ban on entry of beggars and no one will be allowed to sell anything inside the buses and premises of the terminals.
According to the code, no passenger will be allowed to sit on seats allocated for special persons and women. Moreover, passengers will be allowed to talk to the driver during travelling.
There will also be a ban on movement of citizens on the track of the metro buses. Several people have been arrested in the twin cities for crossing the metro track, which is illegal as Section 144 has been imposed in this regard.
