Sargodha Model Town: Trust stopped from receiving funds
He said private housing schemes completed such works in two to five years

Justice Farrukh Irfan of Lahore High Court has restrained the Sargodha Improvement Trust (SIT) from receiving further development funds from owners of plot at Model Town, Sargodha. The court also directed the housing secretary and the trust chairman to hand over possession of plots within six months. Justice Khan noted that the ombudsman had already observed that despite receiving funds the trust had failed to complete development works in Model Town over 20 years. He said private housing schemes completed such works in two to five years.
