Weather pattern: Rain brings drinking water relief to Cholistan

Recent rains have filled the tobas in Cholistan, Livestock Department Director Muhammad Asghar Ramay said on Friday.
He said plants were beginning to bloom in areas near the tobas and water was available for the cattle. He said that rainfall in Cholistan’s Bijnot, Jagayat Pir, Moj Garh, Din Garh, Toba Toot, Toba Nind, Toba Salamsar, Toba Laranwali Gaqi Toba, Toba Chachraan, Toba Qamiya, Toba Chasma and Toba Sodian areas had filled the ponds there.
He said light rain had also been reported in Fort Derawar, Nawa Kot and Zero Line areas. He said temperature had also dropped significantly which had brought much relief.
