Moderate magnitude: 5.2 magnitude quake jolts AJK

There was, however, no damage or loss reported

MUZAFFARABAD:
A moderate earthquake hit parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Thursday triggering panic among the public in some areas. The epicenter of the quake, which measured 5.2 on the Richter scale, was near Muzaffarabad but the jolts were felt in Bagh, Neelum, Chanari, Leepa, Rawalakot, Haveli and Sudhanoti. There was, however, no damage or loss reported. The state was devastated by an earthquake in the Ramazan of 2005, killing around 70,000 people and displacing millions. Reconstruction work of that quake is still under way in AJK.
