ISLAMABAD: A group of clerics have requested the government to release son-in-law of Maulana Aziz, the de facto Khateeb of Lal Mosque. They said this would help avoid a repeat of the 2007-like situation in the federal capital. Nine clerics in a letter to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar expressed their concern over intelligence agencies taking Aziz’s son-in-law Salman bin Shahid into custody. Salman, an advocate by profession, was picked by the intelligence agencies from Wapda Town, Lahore last week, Maulana Abdul Aziz claimed on Thursday.

Curious | 8 years ago | Reply So while Nawaz Sharif and his minions in Parliament respond to MQM Altaf Hussain threats they including Ch Nisar ignore this blatant threat from same bunch of criminals who were let off by them. What does this tell us. Where is the letter and why Ch Nisar is not making a boring long address about this crime. impotancy I guess.
