ISLAMABAD:
National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage was informed on Wednesday that effective measures were being taken to counter anti-Pakistan Indian propaganda via FM radio channels in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). The first formal meeting of the committee, after election of Pir Muhammad Aslam Bodla as its new chairman, was held here at the Parliament House. Director General Radio Pakistan Syed Imran Gardezi informed the committee that steps were being taken to expand Pakistan FM radio channels network in Fata. He said that in the next meeting of the committee, a comprehensive report would be presented.
