Workshop: Promoting sense of responsibility

Speakers at workshop urge people to focus on their sense of responsibility of duties.

ISLAMABAD:
Speakers at a workshop urged people to focus on their sense of responsibility of duties.

The two-day workshop titled “Sense of Responsibility” was organised by Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) for member doctors of PIMA from Punjab, Azad Kashmir and Khyber-Pakhtunkwa (K-P). Speakers said that the fulfilment of responsibilities as an obligation shows how much one is dutiful.

They said that people expect others to do things because they are ought to be done. This willing obedience shows how much people’s sense of responsibility makes them committed or devoted to this value. It also shows their humble, submissive, polite and obedient nature.

The speakers observed that if a nation left behind on the path of progress, development and well-being, it means that its people are not motivated by a sense of responsibility.

Prof Dr Anis Ahmed, Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Dr Abdul Hafeez Karadar, Prof Dr Hafeezur Rehman, Azmat Ullah Querishi and Secretary General PIMA Dr Mumtaz Hussain spoke on the occasion.
