SECP registers 11 companies in November
Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan registers 8 local, 3 foreign companies.
KARACHI:
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has registered eight companies in November. In addition, three foreign companies have also been registered during the month.
Chinese nationals have invested in three companies out the eight companies which received foreign investment. The remaining five companies have received investment by foreign nationals from Nigeria, South Korea, the UK, Egypt, the US, France, Brunei and Croatia.
Five companies are from the trading sector and the remaining three are from finance and banking, power generation and lodging. Five companies were registered in Lahore, two in Islamabad and one in Karachi.
