Four fishermen feared dead in Gwadar
Kareem Bakhsh, Jamil, Ameen and Raju are still missing after their boat capsized in the deep water
QUETTA:
Divers scoured the seas on Sunday for four fishermen who went missing after their boat capsized in the Sar Bandar coastal area of Balochistan’s port city Gwadar.
According to Balochistan Levies sources, four fishermen took a trip to Sar Bandar, some 20 kilometres off the Gwadar coast, when their boat capsized and they went missing.
“Kareem Bakhsh, Jamil, Ameen and Raju are still missing after their boat capsized in the deep water of Gwadar,” said Levies officials, admitting that the men are probably dead.
However, a rescue operation is still under way in the hope that the fishermen may somehow turn up alive, the sources said.
Officials confirmed that there is still no sign of recovery of the missing fishermen. Divers and other fishermen are busy in the hunt for them, they added.
