Academic notification: KU announces BEd examination results

The ratio of successful candidates was 58.36 per cent

KARACHI: The University of Karachi (KU) on Sunday announced the results of the annual B.Ed. examination of 2014. The KU controller of examinations, Prof Dr Arshad Azmi, announced the results of the B.Ed. morning programme and the B.Ed. first and second year evening programmes, 2014. A total of 999 students appeared for the examinations from which six secured A one grades and 255 secured A grades. The ratio of successful candidates was 58.36 per cent. Azmi also announced that in the evening programme, out of the 174 candidates that appeared in the first year, 116 candidates were declared successful, while 58 candidates failed. The ratio of successful candidates was 66.67 per cent in the first year B.Ed. Meanwhile, 220 candidates appeared in the second year B.Ed. annual examination of which only 54 secured A grades and 87 secured B grades. The ratio of successful candidates was 66.82 percent.
