JUI-F wants Khattak administration out, for a month
Says transparent by-polls not possible with PTI in power
PESHAWAR:
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl has demanded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government to resign for a month and the judiciary to takeover during Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa local government by-polls.
“The PTI has no excuse to stay in office after the announcement of poll results,” JUI-F leader Abdul Jalil Jan told The Express Tribune.
Jan said this is the only way transparency can be ensured during the polls. “The ECP notification has validated accusations of rigging.”
Meanwhile Awami National Party K-P Spokesperson Sardar Hussain Babak voiced similar sentiments. “Re-polls prove our claims right. PTI is now morally bound to quit,” he said.
